Carolina Webster is the Vice President of the Redwood City – San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce. She is responsible for the day to day operations of the Chamber of Commerce, including ensuring proper execution of Chamber Programs and Events and providing support to the Chamber members. Prior to this role, she previously served as the Program Director for Leadership Redwood City/Belmont/San Carlos/Menlo Park. She worked closely with the Chamber CEO and the Leadership Advisory Committee in developing program content and recruiting new program participants each year for this program which has graduated over 900 students since 1989.
Prior to joining the Redwood City Chamber of Commerce, Carolina spent 13 years in the Software Technology Industry and has held Senior Level Management and Director level roles in Sales Operations. Carolina transitioned to the non-profit industry when she joined the Chamber in 2004 and in 2007, Carolina graduated from the Chamber’s Leadership Redwood City-Belmont-Menlo Park-San Carlos program.
Carolina earned her Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Social Sciences with a minor in California History from California State University, Chico and is a graduate of Stanford University Graduate School of Business – Redwood City Entrepreneurship Boot Camp.
Carolina serves on the Measure T Oversight Committee for the Redwood City School District. She has participated as a volunteer for the YMCA’s Project Cornerstone Program and volunteers in a multitude of ways at her children’s schools. Most recently, she implemented the Kiddie Valet Program, a San Mateo County Office of Education Program, instilling leadership values in fifth grade students. When she’s not working or volunteering, she enjoys spending time with her family, horseback riding, knitting, and reading a good book.
Carolina is a proud 4th Generation Redwood City Resident. The house where her grandfather was raised still exists on Stambaugh Street in downtown Redwood City and is listed as a historical home in the local historic homes registry. She lives in Redwood City, with her husband Mark and their three active children.
